From a month of almost nothing to a packed weekend. Tonight, join us at the GK Visual office in Midtown for some free live, local music.

Friday will be low-key, maybe a movie, then Saturday is the usual Next Step Performance workout followed by my weekly visit to Broad Street Market (I’m excited to pick up my first CSA share from North Mountain Pastures).

After, maybe a trip to The Great American Outdoors Show.

On Sunday, I’m thinking an at-home brunch — but later, we’re doing note for Valentine’s Day.

Okay, campers, rise and shine, and don’t forget your booties because it’s COOOLD out there!

Happy Candlesmas, or Groundhog Day! My long and everlasting love for quaint Pennsylvania charm comes honestly. I’ve probably told you this, but my college friend’s dad is the Fair Weatherman, and my senior year of college, we went to Gobbler’s Knob with him for the weekend, and I wrote about it for The Holcad, my college newspaper, which let me have a column about whatever the hell I felt like writing about.

I’m excited to get together with some friends I haven’t spent much time with recently. I think Roots is (finally) on my agenda, but I haven’t planned beyond that (maybe some live music on Friday).

Don’t forget, Steelers Nation, #RiseUp on Sunday. Defeat Evil Belichick.

Things are otherwise up in the air, but if I’m in town, we do have tickets to see the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra Pop Series presents The Music of James Bond & More.

We’re continuing a low key January, and I don’t have much for plans but there are some things on my to-do list.

I’d really like to get out to see Gamut Theatre’s Choose Your Own Adventure The Play: Space Vampire at some point (performances Friday through Sunday).

Friday, of course, is 3rd in the Burg, and we’re double-dating to Alvaro’s for a low-key evening of great Italian food (BYOB of course). Saturday is the highly anticipated Lyrical Gangster release at Zeroday, so I’ll need to stop there for sure.

And Sunday is reserved for Steelers football, of course. This week’s menu will feature South Philly Hoagies because I am tired of cooking!

The final Weekend Roundup of 2016 – How ’bout that?

Cheers to the New Year.

We lay pretty low with a tradition of massages and pedicures during the day (which used to be followed by Fusion Fire sushi, so not sure what we’ll do this year). However, a few years ago, I began a tradition of throwing a small New Year’s Day shindig-slash-hangover symposium for close friends and family.

I guess it’s winter, and I don’t know about you but my holiday schedule is completely in gear for this weekend.

Tonight I’m headed to the Jump Street Open House, then off for a little QT with T. After which, I’ll return home to finally decorate the tree.

On Friday, Jimtern and I are headed to York for a mini field trip and cowork. Collusion is on the list, as is ORD.

Saturday morning should be the usual gym + market, but by evening, we’re off to the ballet to see CPYB perform with the Harrisburg Symphony at Hershey Theatre. Then Sunday, it’s a birthday Brunch ‘n Bowl (plus sneaking in the Steelers game).

Weekend Roundup with Sara Bozich

This weekend was originally on hold for a trip to NYC, but we canceled it, so now we have zero plans! I’m looking forward to finishing my Christmas shopping and wrapping and getting into the minor decorating we do here at Surra World Meat Headquarters.

Also on my list: bad Christmas movies (and hey, maybe a good one), making a roast and watching the Steelers on Sunday.
