WINE: I’ve been #wineing all week for work, even though it’s Negroni Week. But Saturday is National Rosé Day!

BEER: Tonight, our friends at Stouts & Stilettos are hosting #SSgirlsnightin, which is actually something I can go to because it’s happening on Twitter. Hoping to stay awake long enough to crack a local beer and chat with other beer-loving ladies. Also in beer, Saturday is Bonifest at St. Boniface Craft Brewing Co., and that is on the “to do” list this weekend.

Happy Weekend!

It’s a yard sale weekend in my ‘hood – weather pending, anyway (for me, not the sale). Sunday, we’re brunching with friends and the babe. I have like 100 things I want to do, including Shakespeare in the Park — but it’ll have to wait until next weekend while I’m in the middle of an office revamp and so much more.

Happy Long Weekend!

We have minimal plans, which is great because maybe I will finally get my garden in today/tomorrow, and maybe we’ll take the kiddo to Artsfest, but definitely to the Market.

Happy Weekend!

Tonight, thunderstorms-pending, I’ll be heading to Brewhouse for my mom’s annual birthday gathering. She and I have two more dates this weekend as we gather flowers and plants for our respective gardens, an annual tradition (ha). I’m trying to brainstorm what else to try to grow this year besides the requisite tomatoes, peppers, herbs, and squash.

Ah, May, the start of summer holidays. This Saturday is both Derby Day AND Cinco de Mayo, so whether you’re sipping on Mint Juleps and betting on the ponies or are face-deep in chips and salsa and margs, you’re set for a good day. (And if the next day is not so nice, read this.)

But FIRST! TONIGHT: SoMa Pop-Up Block Party! We’ve scooted just a bit from S. Third St. to accommodate construction, but you won’t want to miss this great night outside with LIVE MUSIC from Funktion Quintet, beers from Zeroday, Boneshire, and Ever Grain, cold brew from Elementary, and food from our neighbors at Bricco + El Sol. Happy Weekend!

Holla. Have you seen this forecast? It won’t last long, so soak in that warm weather while you can. The Harrisburg Senators have to be jazzed. I used to always go to the home opener until I realized I would always be freezing cold by the end of it. Not this Friday! Should be a beautiful night to be out and enjoy City Island.

We have dinner guests tonight, then the weekend is free. I’m excited to get this baby some vitamin D.

It’s a pretty low key weekend for us, which is somewhat needed following Easter and busy workweek. We’re hosting some friends for dinner on Saturday (what should I make?), so that will mean a trip to the Market.

Plus, I’m looking forward to ZerØday’s 3 year anniversary on Sunday — they’re buying you your first beer!
