Happy Weekend!

The holidays are here. Hope your shopping is (almost) done. Gifts are wrapped (mine aren’t – when do you do that with a 1-year-old?). We have a full weekend followed by travel and family. It’s going to be a lot. Thank goodness for cbd-infused seltzer.

After a busy workday, I’ll be at Broad Street Market for 3rd in the Burg, picking up pork fat and accouterments for Andy and Jimi to make venison sausage and chorizo on Saturday (with Mexican Oregano from Calicutts). Bo and I will probably hit The State Museum or maybe visit friends in the ‘hood.

Monday, we meet up with friends, as per tradition, at ZerØday — before we hit I-80 for Elk County for Christmas this year. After festivities, we’re back home hitting up my side of the family. Then we cap the week both hosting dinner and attending a cocktail party. OMG I am exhausted typing all of this.

Happy Weekend!

It’s been a week. Or two. Mercury is not in retrograde apparently, but *something* is going on. That said, I look forward to relaxing weekend. I’m gonna try anyway.

On Friday, we have the GK Visual Holiday Open House — we’re hosting a casual and fun open house starting at 2 p.m. tomorrow at our office in Midtown. Join us!

Saturday is Market Day, and lately I’ve been enjoying taking (rewarding) Bo to the Curiosity Connection at The State Museum of Pennsylvania afterwards, so we may do that. At some point I’ll have to try to start wrapping Christmas gifts. And that night, we’re headed to a holiday party!

Happy Weekend!

We’re going to go out to dinner on Friday! Together! It’s wild.

Then, Saturday is Market + FLEA (#shoplocal for the holidaze, folks)., then helping friends move, by which I mean bringing them snacks and booze. And Sunday, the Steelers are playing under the lights. It’s funny the difference a year makes. Last year I wouldn’t have been able to stay awake long enough to watch an 8 p.m. game, and this year, I’m like score, I can actually watch the game because the baby will be in bed.

Hey, so it’s the holidays. It’s a 3rd in the Burg weekend, which is festive and fun, but we’re hosting good friends for wine and food. On Saturday, it’s off to Market, but maybe I’ll adjust my timing to coincide with part of the Holiday Parade, or just to swing by The Curiosity Connection at The State Museum of Pennsylvania, of which we are new members.

On Sunday, we’re getting family photos taken because we are officially “those” people. If you’re on our card list, you’ve been warned.
